Chris Labarge is the Founder, CEO, and Broker/Owner of Eastern Insuring Agency, leading one of New York's growing independent insurance agencies with a commitment to personalized service, trusted relationships, and innovative insurance solutions.

Since founding Eastern Insuring Agency in 2017, Chris has guided the agency's growth through strategic acquisitions and a client-first philosophy, expanding Eastern's ability to serve businesses, families, municipalities, nonprofits, and organizations throughout New York State. His vision is to combine the personalized service of a local independent agency with the technology, resources, and expertise today's clients expect.

As a successful entrepreneur, Chris brings real-world business experience to every client relationship. In addition to insurance, he owns and operates businesses in hospitality, tourism, retail, real estate, and development, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges business owners face. This unique perspective allows him to provide practical risk management strategies that support long-term success.

Chris is also deeply committed to the communities Eastern serves. As Chair of the Franklin County Tourism Advisory Board, he has helped champion initiatives that strengthen tourism, expand recreational opportunities, and support economic development throughout the North Country.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and their five Newfoundland dogs, exploring the Adirondacks, and supporting projects that preserve and enhance the communities he proudly calls home.
