The Franklin County Land Bank (FCLB) is a new non-profit entity that acquires and improves tax-delinquent properties so that they can provide affordable housing for Franklin County (FC) residents. A portion of the FCLB funding is provided by NYS Homes and Community Renewal (HCR). FCLB required several different types of insurance to meet the requirements of FC, HCR, and other coverage. Frank Shambo solicited proposals from multiple insurance companies to provide the required coverage and negotiated the best pricing for FCLB. Since FCLB is a new entity without a track record, some companies would not provide any quote, making the effort more challenging. Frank provided excellent advice and service.
